The whole school gathered together today to honor the start of the new year and the joy of being in community once again.
As we joined each other in circle, we celebrated all our new friends who have become part of our community, seeing old friends, being back on the land and surrounded by the trees, plants, and animals that we love so much and all the possibilities that a new school year holds.
When the children are gone during the summer, there is a void when walking about the land. At the start of the new year, it is delightfully filled. Everything seems more vibrant and coming to life.
We are excited about the year full of growing, learning, and exploring that lies ahead!
