Primary, week of 9/16

Kindergarten enjoyed making applesauce and apple crisp . They also made their own constellations and were very creative in their posters for today's climate march.

The spindle box is a compartmentalized box with 10 compartments 0 to 9 and 45 spindles. The developmental aim is preparation for number-numeral concept of larger quantities and preparatuion for abstraction. The practical aim is association of a numeral with a quantity, 0-9 and learning/understanding the concept of zero.
