Thankful & Grateful

We are so grateful and thankful to all of you for sharing your children with us each day.

This week we learned about hiders, seekers and keepers - what animals do in winter. We

learned that some animals (the eastern box turtle) wait out winter in brumation, some (Queen bees) enter a state of rest called diapause, others hibernate or migrate and carpenter ants produce glycerol that prevents them from freezing!

We celebrated Hanna's 5th birthday this week.

We talked about what it means to be grateful and thankful. We discussed what we are thankful for.

Hope you all have a wonderful break and a lovely Thanksgiving!
