Magical is the word that best describes upper’s elementary field trip to Barrier Island Sea Camp. What was most amazing about this trip was getting to witness compassion, kindness, and support that this group of students offered each other. Students also participated in kayaking, seining, hiking, and exploring the beach and maritime forest. They made incredible connections between learning about these systems and developing an appreciation of these ecosystems and the importance of their conservation.
