We had so much fun working on our turkeys this week. The youngest children made the cutest handprint turkeys using a paint medium. The rest of the group worked with string art, creating turkeys from their handprints. They are all so cute, anything involving children’s handprints is always so sweet.
The cold weather really tested us this week, probably the teachers more than the students. I truly learned the meaning of layers and appreciated every one of them. Thankfully, the weather returned to normal today. The children never complain of the cold, but they do need to layer. The classroom windows are open no matter what the weather, so for this reason it is important.
Kindergarten are bringing home works from their overflowing portfolio’s, they have worked very hard over the last couple of months!
If you have not yet filled out your field trip permission slip (kindergarten only), please do so. (Refer to the email previously sent for the details). Also, please check the menu and let me know of their lunch choice for that day.
Wishing you all a peaceful and safe Thanksgiving and as always, thank for the gift of your child everyday, we are so grateful for each and everyone of them!
Ms. Collette, Ms. Judith & Ms. Belkis
