Lower Elementary April 26-30: Sunshine and a Surprise from Nature!

This week a moth surprisingly emerged from a cocoon we brought into the sunroom last autumn. It is a lovely female Cecropia moth. Shout out to Dahlia, our nature whisperer, for observing the delicate changes in the cocoon and alerting us to the moth's emergence!
