Last week, upper elementary headed to the hills. When they arrived, they were greeted with wet, cold weather. And this weather hung around until departure. This type of weather would make most adults ready to pack up their bags and head home.
However, these amazing kiddos rose to the challenge… and built a little more inner resilience and grit in the process. Their attitude stayed amazing as they met each new challenge they came across… whether it was getting into the cold waterfall, going into a cave, hiking and foraging for tea…. They were all in. I am very proud of them!
