The Innovation Barn…. Sounds like the perfect first field trip of the year for a group of innovative kids, right?
Well, it was!
The Innovation Barn is a hub of sustainability and innovation in Charlotte. They house many organizations that collect and process materials - diverting them from the land field, rethinking food security, and helping solve the problem of food deserts. Just the kind of innovation we love to learn about!
We explored and learned about these various businesses, had the dynamic Sam Fleming share with us about circular economy and aquaponics, and had a phenomenal cooking lesson!
