After a month and a half of studying riparian zones and water quality, I hope the message of being a water protector lasts into our student’s adulthood. This week we read the book We Are Water Protectors and discussed the Dakota Access Pipeline and how individuals worldwide continue to support water quality protection on indigenous land.
Boomerang bottle (new business here in Davidson) is hosting a contest for Earth Day in which students create a special edition label for their glass water bottles in honor of Earth Day. Our students created thoughtful and beautiful images to enter into the contest with other Davidson students.
