I hope you all enjoyed curriculum night and got a little birds eye view into life in Primary! Our group is little but they are mighty! Thank you for taking the time to be with us, listen and ask questions. Feel free to follow up next week with any more questions you may have at conferences. To that end, I will email their conference report to you the day before their conference time so that you have a chance to read it and formulate questions.
When I write these conference reports, it makes me realize how much they have learned and how lucky they are to have so many different kinds of learning experiences at DGS.
We are learning about birds at the moment, and this morning we read a really cool book called 'Chickens aren't the only ones'. We learned that amphibians, reptiles and even two mammals actually lay eggs. In the weeks ahead we will have our own chicken eggs in our classroom to take care of....how cool is that!!! We have done this in the past and it is a wonderful experience for us all!
I know many of you are traveling this weekend, I hope you all have fun and safe travels! Looking forward to chatting and sharing with you all next week.
Have a great weekend.
The Primary Team
