It was good to be back, the children returned rested and ready for work and play. We talked quite a bit about Earth Day this week; what it means and what our part is in taking care of it EVERYDAY! Strategies were discussed on how to be ambassadors for the earth. We are planting tomorrow to celebrate and honor the earth on this special day.
The highlight of our week was our trip to Fisher Farm. Led by Ms. Kathleen, we navigated through woods and meadow and learned about plants we can eat and those that have medicinal purpose. We enjoyed mindful movement and ended our field trip with song. What an incredible day.
Looking forward to seeing everyone next Friday for our art auction, can’t wait for you to see the children’s creations!!!
