The class is becoming normalized, the children are working hard, academically, and socially. Here are some of the materials they have been working with this week.
Sensorial: Sound cylinders
Developmental Aim of all sensorial materials: refinement of the ability to observe, compare, differentiate, reason, decide, solve problems, appreciate and participate in the world.
Practical; pairing and grading cylinders that produce sounds.
Future; music and music appreciation.


Sensorial: Rough and Smooth
Practical Aim; Discrimination of the difference between rough and smooth.
Future Aim; Tracing sandpaper letters/numbers and writing.


Sink or Float
Primary experimented to see what sinks and what floats. They were surprised to find a couple of objects that changed depending on whether they were empty or full!

Kindergarten experimenting to find out what happens when a meteroid hits the moon.


Kindergarten creating volcanoes this week.
