What an amazing field trip we had today!!!
The children learned about color mixing and different methods used to dye yarn. They got to experiment with color mixing and yarn and also got to dye yarn using ice and kool aid. They also got to make their own Pom Poms. Such an interesting and fun experience. And what a cool place Hearts and Fiber is!!!
We walked up to Davidson Green after that and had a socially distanced lunch. After that we were entertained by bubble snowflakes passing by, a nutcracker soldier on stilts and Santa and Mrs. Claus driving past in their go cart.
The children were so well behaved and it was such a fun day for all!
