December We Celebrate the Festival of Light

We have had a wonderful month full of celebration. We celebrated Diwali by lighting a diya, Hanukkah by lighting a menorah, and Christmas by decorating and lighting our tree.

Stronger Together!

Ornament Making

The class made ornaments for our families. We rolled the dough, cut the ornaments, added glitter, decorated our bags, and wrapped each ornament.

Alice in Wonderland!

We also practice our poem and songs for the Alice in Wonderland play. We did a fantastic job! Primary kicked off the show in grand style.

December Study

We studied Europe this month using our map, a suitcase containing cultural items, pictures of landmarks, and European flags. Next month, we will turn to birds after wrapping up mammals and leaves. We recited Robert Frost's "Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening" and a December poem from our Chicken Noodle Soup book.
