Lower Elementary is in the mountains!

Our Lower Elementary class headed out to Camp Rockmont in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Overnight field trips are an integral part of our curriculum. They support multiple aspects of our philosophy such as hands-on learning, authentic learning, independence, nature connection, and free exploration. Throughout the year, our school goes on approximately seven overnight excursions ranging from two days up to five days.
