Liquids were the topic of exploration this week. Counting how many drops of water we needed to add to an almost full glass of water (301) gave us a good example of surface tension. We had fun blowing air through a straw in water gently and then more vigorously causing bubble eruptions of various degrees. Predicting what would sink or float….observations were mostly on target with a couple of surprises!
Don’t forget to send in your valentines on Monday. We are having a lot of visitors to our group for next year. The children are most welcoming and it is astounding to watch how far our current children have come when you see the difference in the children who have not yet participated in our program.
Hope everyone had a fun super bow/Valentines’s weekend.
