We had a lovely November. We studied the United States of America, trees, leaves, and Thanksgiving. We discussed Native American tribes and customs. We recited the Pledge of Allegiance, our Turkey poem, and the lines for our play. In art, we were able to glue leaves and feathers making lots of fall creations. We began mixing colors with red and yellow paint. In science, we were able to collect leaves outside and identify Poplar, Gingko, Maple, Sycamore, Oak, and Sassafras. Ginkgo was the favorite.
Yesterday, we joined the whole school for a Sustainability Fashion Show. After the middle school presented, we all ate together as a community. We are so thankful to have such a welcoming and kind community.
