Capillary Action

This week we began to learn about our circulatory system. We began an experiment this morning to find out about capillary action using a simple colorful rainbow celery food coloring experiment. We placed several celery stalks into jars containing different food coloring. By doing this experiment we discover how the "vessels" in the celery stalks carry the water and color to the leaves, like the way blood travels through our bodies!

We had two visitors to our classroom for next year and the children are always so warm and welcoming!

Warm weather seems to be on the cards next week which hopefully means we can open up our outside area again!

Looking forward to conferences next week and having an opportunity to speak with you about the wonderful things the children are doing! A surprise visit from Nora's goat this morning made our day!!!

Stay warm this weekend.

The Primary Team!
